We had our first date on June 5 of 2021, after meeting online and talking for about a week. The date was amazing, we hit it off right away. Nerves kicked in as sparks flew and we both wanted to make a good impression. We met in Armory Square in Syracuse for drinks first, then out to dinner, then walked around town holding hands and enjoying each other's company. We were smitten and on cloud nine!

It's been almost 4 years since that date and we have grown so much as a couple, developing deep love and respect for one another. We've had some struggles, as all couples do. But they are far outweighed by the good times. We have the same sense of humor and laugh at all of the same things. We both enjoy traveling, going out to dinner, watching movies and seeing shows together, rooting for the 49ers, being mom's to our 3 fur babies, playing tennis and have recently bought electric scooters to ride together. We have also been blessed with our first granddaughter, Margot June. Spending time together and being close is what we love more than anything. Also, family is the most important thing to the both of us, and we cherish our families immensely.

Kristin is a wonderful chef and cooks all of our delicious meals. She also does all of the decorating and plants all of the beautiful flowers on the back deck and around the house. Sue is more of a numbers person and worries more about the bills and planning for the future. She is also the best mom to our fur babies; and the love that she has for all animals, is beyond special. Her heart is huge.

Once we made the decision to be together forever, we needed to figure out living arrangements. Sue's house was a little small, and two women sharing a bathroom was out of the question! We considered moving to the Syracuse area, since we both commute over a half hour to work each day, and Kristin wanted to be near her girls. But with outrageous housing prices, we decided to stay and renovate the house to make it what we both wanted. We did a full renovation of the basement, which was completed at the end of 2023.

Since then, we've been really looking forward to our wedding and starting married life together. We can't wait to see what adventures await us!
